Barceló Albatros offers a new concept in rooms, the B-room. Outstanding in their modernist design, they were created to offer their guests much more than rest.

It has two outdoor swimming pools with open-air Jacuzzi and a spa with heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath. Location
The hotel is situated directly on the stunning cliff coastline of Illetas. The hotel features a private beach in an inlet, or alternatively guests may visit the main beach, which is approximately 1 km from the hotel. Plenty of shopping venues, restaurants, pubs and bars, as well as public transport connections are within 500 m of the hotel. It is approximately 7 km to Palma's popular old town and 10 km to the airport.
Facilities
Built in 1963 and renovated in 2001, the fully air-conditioned hotel occupies a 6-storey main building and offers a total of 119 rooms. There are 5 suites, 21 single and 93 double rooms available. The hotel offers a 24-hour reception, a safe, currency exchange desk, cloakroom, lift access and a cafe. In addition, the hotel has an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area, a hairdresser's salon, bar, pub and TV room. A conference room, public Internet access with WLAN and laundry and medical services are also available (additional fess apply). A car park may also be used by guests on payment of an additional fee, as well as a bike hire service.
Rooms
The comfortable rooms comprise an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, as well as central heating, air conditioning, satellite/cable TV, Internet connection, minibar (additional fees apply), carpeting, hire safe and a balcony. Some of the balconies offer views out over the sea. Single rooms do not, however, include a balcony.
Sports/Entertainment
To relax, guests may use the hotel's pool, sun loungers, parasols, snack bar, massages and a sauna, although some of these facilities incur an additional fee. Guests may also play table tennis and golf, as well as using the gym (additional fees apply). The provision of an entertainment programme is dependent upon the season.
Meals
The hotel offers a buffet at breakfast and in the evening. An a la carte selection is available at lunchtime. Special dietary requirements are catered for and special dishes are also on offer.
