Your hosts, Marcus and Monika, understand that the personal touch is what makes their guests feel so welcome; excellent home cooking, sundowners on the terrace and a wealth of local knowledge are just a few of the aspects that make Son Escanelles special.

The beautifully restored old mansion is just a five minute walk way from the picturesque and historic town centre of Valldemossa. Surrounded by the striking peaks of the Tramuntana Range, it is peaceful and rural, yet there are a number of excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance.

With just seven rooms and suites, Son Escanelles feels very personal. The rooms are generously sized and individually furnished in classic Mallorcan style. They are all equipped with Wi-Fi internet access, cable TV and a DVD player. Not that you will need any of this when you have such wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

The hotel grounds include a terrace, sun deck, BBQ area, swimming pool and beautifully landscaped gardens featuring orange, lemon and fig trees.

Son Escanelles is a great base from which to discover the island of Mallorca; villages, beaches, mountains, golfing, cycling and hiking are all on the doorstep. Marcus and Monika will be happy to advise you where to go.
