They also offer private transport to and from your hotel to the activity locations and trails. So whether you are looking for a stroll through the Soller valley, to ascend one of the highest peaks or to take a 5-day tour through the Tramuntana mountain range, Tramuntana Tours offer something for everyone.

Hiking & Walking Excursions
Based in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains, Soller is the ideal place from which to explore the surrounding countryside and the starting point for most of the excursions. Tramuntana Tours offers a variety of different walks to suit all levels and abilities, specialising in smaller groups, between 4 and 8 people. You will be in the company of a knowledgeable guide, so you can learn about the history, culture, flora and fauna of this beautiful area.

Mountain Biking

For mountain bikers there is a wide variety of trails to discover, from rocky single tracks which wind through the olive groves to easier 4-wheel drive paths. With the Mediterranean never far away, the views are always spectacular. Why take a guided tour? The Sierra Tramuntana is riddled with paths, however as 90% of the land is privately owned and many tracks are unsuitable for biking, a guide will make your experience more enjoyable. Whether you are an expert mountain biker or are just starting to ride off-road, Tramuntana Tours have a choice of 7 guided excursions to suit your needs. Grade 1 = Easy. Grade 5 = Difficult.

Canyoning
Canyoning is a relatively new sport that involves walking, scrambling, climbing, jumping, abseiling and/or swimming through a canyon. Due to the limestone rocks found in the Tramuntana mountain range, Mallorca boasts many canyons that have been carved out over millions of years by water. These narrow gorges, with beautifully sculpted walls and waterfalls provide a striking setting for this all-action activity. Canyoning is practised throughout the year in Mallorca, although the best time is generally from October to April when the island's rainfall is at its heaviest. Tramuntana Tours has professionally qualified and experienced canyoning guides so you will be well looked after on your trip. All material including climbing harness, ropes, helmets, wetsuits, bags and watertight containers are provided. All you need to bring is a good pair of walking shoes, lightweight warm clothing and a sense of adventure.

Visitor Feedback for Tramuntana Tours:

"Thanks Andy for such an unbelievable time. I thought it would be difficult to arrange the tour but you made it so easy by organising it all by email. The walk was amazing and the view from the top of the mountains was pretty special. The campsite you chose was great, we had a great time in Lluc but the best was saved until last - the mountain biking! Tom, Steve, Mike, Ben and I are very grateful and we have some excellent memories to take away with us. We'll be seeing you again soon!" - D Parkes UK

"In September 2005 we discovered Tramuntana Tours and Michelle. What a find she was! She took us on the Cala Tuent walk and we were hooked. The scenery was breathtaking and she always ensured that our refreshment stops were at fascinating places and was always ready with interesting information about the environment. This year we ensured we booked Michelle for two walks, the the Archduke's Trail in Valdemossa, which proved to be the highlight of the holiday, and the Soller Valley. Next year we are on for the walk to Lluc Monastry via the Coll des Prat plus others." - Terry UK

"We all found the walk in the Torrent de Pareis a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Spectacular scenery and a trip we will never forget." - W Van Hove Belgium

"The mountainbiking is spectacular ... but very different from Denmark ... dry, hot, with lots of climbing and descents, and lots of stones and fantastic views. I can highly recommend it." Richard, Denmark

Tramuntana Tours also offer boat trips/charters and fishing excursions, please visit their website for further details.
