Mallorca is a very attractive destination for horse riding. There is no better way to enjoy the magnificent scenery than from on top of a horse. Take a trek through the mountains, or along one of the glorious beaches. There are some top quality equestrian centres where you can enjoy forward-going and fun horses, or if you are a beginner, there are also schools that will help you learn on more gentle creatures. Children's lessons and pony trekking are also available.

Club Hipico La Gubia, Bunyola

Club Hipico La Gubia is an equestrian centre situated near Bunyola, on the road from Palma to Soller. Lessons are available for everyone from children (aged four years and over), to advanced riders from fully qualified BHS or RFHE trainers.  

Advanced riders can also hire experienced horses and ponies to participate in specially organised competitions throughout the island. You can also take a ride through the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Sierra Norte National Park. The centre has excellent facilities, with a professional show jumping arena. Private livery is also available.

Santa Ponsa Riding Club

Santa Ponsa riding club is British run and owned. Based in Calvia, the stables have two BHS qualified instructors, specialising in jumping and dressage. For those wishing to explore the local countryside on horse back, excursions through Calvia village, the torrente and to Santa Ponsa beach are available in the winter months.
