Flexas Bar is a Palma institution, located in the heart of the city’s historic centre and renowned for its unique blend of history, culture, and gastronomy. Originally opened in 1944 and revived in 2004 by Pepa “la Terre”, Fernando Estrella, and Xavier Aloy, the bar has become a social and cultural landmark, drawing locals, artists, and visitors alike.
Set in the old “barrio chino”, the space retains much of its original character, from hydraulic floors and iron columns to nostalgic details discovered by the new owners when they reopened it. This careful restoration combines vintage charm with retrofuturistic touches, creating a distinctive and welcoming atmosphere.
Flexas Bar is more than a place to drink; it is a hub of creativity and community. Its culinary offering, known as “emotive cuisine”, reflects daily inspiration, from fresh tapas to inventive dishes crafted in the open kitchen.
