The Real Club Náutico de Palma hosts the Copa del Rey each summer, welcoming world-class sailing crews from across the globe to compete for the King's Cup.

First held in 1982, the regatta is one of the highlights of the Mediterranean sailing calendar. Competitors range from top professional crews to royal participants, and the Bay of Palma fills with impressive yachts throughout the event. In the evenings, the streets of Palma come alive with entertainment and celebrations ashore.

Some of the most popular are the Mallorca 312 cycling race in April, the Copa del Rey sailing regatta in July and the Moors vs Christians mock battle in September.
