More than 400 Hotel Guests Without Electricity or Water Yesterday
Non payment of bills leaves guests with few facilities
Around 400 guests at the 4 star Vita Delta resort hotel in Llucmajor were left without water or electricity yesterday apparently due to non payment of bills by the hotel.
The hotels guests had limited facilities from 9am to 5pm, until the hotel drafted in a large generator to overcome some of the supply issues, at a cost of at least 500 euros per day.
Some disgruntled guests chose to move hotels whilst others have stayed put, although if the hotel hasn't paid some of its other suppliers there may not be any fresh linen or towels for the remaining guests to use..
