Gay Nightlife

Palma is the place to come for gay & lesbian nightlife.  There are around 30 bars, cafes and clubs in the Gomila district of Palma, below Bellver Castle.  The gay scene is laid back, friendly and more 'Spanish' than 'International', which reflects the large, permanent gay population of Palma.

There are a number of nightclubs. Black Cat nightclub (Joan Miro Avenue) is popular, and has live shows during the night. Open from 11pm to 5am. You may like to try Heaven in Placa Gomila or La Demence (Joan Miro too). Dark Cruising Bar which is located in the north of the city is a touch more hardcore.
