Over 4.5 million euros is being spent on improvements to the arrivals area and baggage collection system at Palma airport. Airport operator, ANEA, hopes to improve passenger flow and maximise the use of available space with the new layout.

During the revamp, the space dedicated to shops and restaurants will be moved and re-designed, with the new facilities covering a total area 1,400 metres squared. The works will be carried out between now and April.
