The Kooks will be performing live at the Mallorca Rocks hotel, Magaluf on Sunday, June 6, 2010. Doors open at 7.30pm with the show set to start at 8pm.

They will also be joined by Bombay Bicycle Club, an indie rock band from Crouch End, London. Plus Zane Lowe, BBC Radio 1’s evening DJ and MTV personality. Tickets are £34 (around €40) and can be purchased online at Mallorcarockshotel.com

The Kooks, made up of singer/guitarist Luke, lead guitarist Hugh Harris, bassist Peter Denton and drummer Paul Garred were formed in Brighton in 2004, at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music.

They took their name from a track on David Bowie's 1971 album 'Hunky Dory'.

After enjoying swift success at a local level, Virgin Records quickly signed The Kooks to their roster - debut album 'Inside In/Inside Out' was released in January 2006, with singles 'You Don't Love Me', 'Naïve', 'She Moves In Her Own Way' and 'Ooh La' all reaching the UK top twenty.
