The popular funfair, Fira del Ram, opened this weekend in the outskirts of Palma and will run until the 7th April. The rides have been set up in the usual spot of Polígono Son Fusteret to the north east of Palma - you can see the lights and rides from the the motorway to Inca and Alcudia.

There are around seventy attractions at the fira, including a viking ship, bumper cars and of course an iconic 60 metre high ferris wheel. As well as rides there is bingo, raffles and stalls where you can race camels, and plenty of bars and stalls for food and drink.

The fira makes for a great family outing with rides to suit all ages and thrill-seekers. You can take the bus, metro or train from central Palma (the station is Son Fuster Vell, note that the metro is closed at weekends).

Opening times for the fair are Monday - Thursday from 5pm-11pm, Fridays 5pm-2am and 10am-12am at the weekend and during public holidays. Entrance to the park is free and the rides cost around €2.50-€3.50 each.
