No Bikinis in the Streets of Mallorca

Law is passed making it illegal to wear swim suits in the streets of Mallorca

Categorised in:

The Civil Ordinance law banning people from wearing bikinis and swim wear in the towns of Mallorca has been passed and will come into effect in May 2014.

Along with laws against prostitution, street hustling and begging the law will make it illegal to be dressed in swim wear in the streets of Mallorca. Bikinis and shorts are allowed on the beaches and adjacent streets but if venturing away from the water visitors will have to cover up or face a fine of up to €600.

The law is currently open to public inspection but will be in place in time for the coming summer
