Record 11,000 Runners Take Part in Tui Marathon Mallorca

Fifth Victory for Miquel Capo in the Record Breaking Mallorca Marathon in Palma

It was a record breaking weekend of races in Palma when the tenth Tui Marathon took place with an estimated 11,000 runners taking part.

The men's Marathon was won by five times winner Mallorcan Miquel Capo in a time of 2:35:16 with Sonja Oberem of German taking the top spot on the podium in the women's race in 3:03:43.

Runners from 62 different countries entered the races over the weekend and between the Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10,000m, Nordic Walking and Kids Race there were a record 11,000 entrants.

Registration is now open for the 2014 TUI Marathon Mallorca.
