The long running summer sun in Mallorca looks set to end this weekend when a cold front hits the island bringing lower temperatures, rain and maybe even snow.

Mallorca has enjoyed the warmest and driest October since records began and an unusually sunny November but it looks like the warm weather is going to give way winter. A cold front will hit the island on Friday and temperatures are expected to drop six degrees and rain is likely. There may even be some snow on the higher ground.

Temperatures will remain in the twenties until Friday and then drop to thirteen degrees, so there's still no need for hats and gloves. Even after a cold front Mallorca remains warmer than most of the UK.
