This October has been unusually warm in Mallorca with temperatures pushing to over degrees and this looks set continue into the weekend with the mercury expected to reach up to 28 degrees on Saturday.

This October has been warmer and drier than normal with 90% less rainfall over the last month. New records have been set, albeit only at night where temperatures have been 2.7 degrees above the average. This has been a warmer and drier October than in recent years even the sea is warmer than usual at 24 degrees according to the Port Authority.

This may be the last weekend of this warm weather as on Tuesday temperatures are forecast to drop by 8 degrees bringing temperatures down to a more usual 20 degrees. With the clocks set to go back this weekend in the UK and dark cold days ahead Mallorca seems like an ideal destination for a last bit of summer sun.

Catch the end of the summer before it's too late, visit Mallorca this weekend.
