Hiking & Wine Tasting Tour, Mallorca

7hr guided hiking and vineyard tour in the Tramuntana mountains

Featured in: | Updated

Enjoy a day of trekking in the Tramuntana mountains and explore a traditional Mallorcan winery.

A wonderful three-hour hike through the stunning Mallorcan countryside and along the cliffs and coastline whilst stopping off at various vineyards to taste a selection of wines and traditional local produce.

If you like hiking, and you like wine, this might just be for you. This three hour long hike will begin with the bus leaving you at the beginning of an 8km long trail through the Serra de Tramuntana mountains. With a medium difficulty, you shouldn't be too tired to fully enjoy a glass of Mallorcan wine upon reaching your destination.

Experience a typical Majorcan winery, from how and when the grapes are picked, to how the wine is produced. Guided at all times by the winery's oenologist, you will learn the secrets of the unique tastes and aromas of Mallorcan wine.

After a two hour tour from the oenologist, you will enjoy wine tasting and a typical Majorcan meal of bread rubbed with tomato and oil, accompanied by cheese and ham.

Visitor comments

  • "A group of us did the tour visiting 2 wineries. Great organisation and really good choice of wineries. One was a family run winery which used traditional methods and the other a larger more modern winery. Excellent wines and really interesting tours of each winery. Recommended." - Trip Advisor
  • "A group of friends went on the trekking tour. A bus picked us up at the hotel and took us to Esporles, from where we started a trek of nearly 3 hours. It's not very hard to do and it's very nice with amazing and stunning views . We arrived to another village called Banyalbufar, such a wonderful village just over the sea!!! We arrived to Son Vives winery and had the pleasure of tasting Malvasia wine, good cheese and the typical Mallorcan "sobrasada". Toni, the owner, is very friendly, and his explanation of wine production very interesting. At the end we bought some bottles and now at home we drink the delicious wine just thinking of this great experience we had in Mallorca" - Trip Advisor
