Arenal is lively, noisy and bustling with lots of nightlife. This hotel is set back from most of it and we enjoyed that. But its within easy reach if you want it. • "I stayed here recently with a friend for a short 4 day relaxing break and that is exactly what it was. The pool is only small but it is big enough for a cooling dip, it wasn't at all busy, we were able to get a sun bed any time of the day. Staff were really friendly despite their poor English, they gave very good service with lots of smiles and tried their best. Breakfast was amazing, more than enough to choose from however dinner come with mixed reviews for me, somedays were better than others but was ok for the price we paid. Management/owner's were really friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay a happy one. I wish them the best of luck in their new adventure and all they have planned for this hotel. The newly refurbished rooms are very modern and stunning with all the necessities needed, the air-conditioning takes a bit of time to get going but once on works well. I hope this hotel doesn't lose its small and friendly atmosphere. I would 100% go back. The restaurant attached to the hotel does some fantastic cocktails and food at a very reasonable price.
