Andrew Potter moved to Felanitx, a typical working town, with it’s beautiful square, cafes and interesting people in 2015. In July 2016, he opened his own gallery to show his meticulous and realistic paintings, moving to new premises in December 2018 to the centre of the town.
The new gallery is bright, airy, air-conditioned and four times the space of the previous one, and is at home on a street with a lot of other galleries. The new space houses a regularly changing display of Andrew's meticulous and realistic art - filled with sunlight, texture and the unique atmosphere of Mallorca.
An English artist and veteran of some three years on the island, this acclaimed painter has his work in thousands of international collections but feels that now he is producing some of his best yet, such is the inspiration he has found here.
From highly accomplished seascapes to unusual views of buildings; almost abstract little studies to bold, large work, there is something for everyone here and with quality prints of Andrew work available, there is something to suit every pocket.
When you visit the gallery Andrew or Denise will be on hand to answer your queries or to just have a chat.
Also for sale at the gallery are copies of his new book, 'Portraits of an Island' - a limited edition restricted to just 300, signed and numbered by the artist and which features a selection of his work on Mallorca.
