Opened in 1994 this museum displays various forms of artwork by Dieter W. Liedtke who's pieces combine art philosophy and research.
Apart from him being an artist, Dieter is also an inventor, thinker, visionary and author. His newest inventions are focused on epigenetics (the study of changes in organisms caused by modification of gene expression rather than the alteration of the genetic code itself), media and renewable energies.
His museum in Port d'Andratx offers a unique experience to discover some incredible piece of art which are displayed within an estate that doubles as a brains sculpture. The aim of his exhibits is to unlock the creativity of the visitors.
The museum is located on the cliff edge and has some stunning views which can be enjoyed from the comfort of their cafe where you can unwind after your tour with a refreshing glass of wine and some delicious tapas.
The museum runs two daily events, a 'Happiness Culture Event' and a Gala Dinner. The Happiness Culture Event is between 4-5 hours in length and includes:
- Welcome drink
- Guided tour of the museum and the artworks in English, German or Spanish
- Healthy buffet in the restaurant
- Cocktail and social hour
The Gala dinners include a 5-course seasonal menu alongside an art film projected onto the rocks and various activities. When these take place on Saturday's, there is also live music.
Then entry cost to this museum is €19.
The museum is open 7 days a week between 09:00 - 20:00 from November to February and between 09:00 - 23:00 from March to October.
