Making a stop over on the long journey back from South America the Chinese premier Li Keqiang, Foreign Minister Wang Li and 120 members of their delegation will spend two nights in Palma de Mallorca.

Recently, Chinese investors had bought the luxury Hotel Valparaíso in Palma de Mallorca, where the visitors will be accommodated. For safety and security reasons the entire hotel has been reserved for the party.

In the two day visit, it is thought that partnerships between Mallorca and China will be strengthened. In particular relating to tourism but also the real estate market which is attractive to China. Mallorcan Hotel chains are also interested to explore the Chinese tourist market.

The newspaper Ultima Hora has reported that the Chinese Premier and his delegation plan to visit Bellver Castle, Palma cathedral and the village of Valldemossa.
