For Indiana Jones' apprentices

Mallorca's first settlements date back to the Bronze Age which means that it is steeped in history. Romans and Arabs established themselves on the island creating a rich cultural soil on which Mallorca's current culture is based. Their presence can still be seen today in the ruins and castles that dot the coastline. Especially interesting are the "navetas" and "talaiots" such as Ses Païsses, Bronze-Age monuments made with huge stone slabs. Children will feel like Indiana Jones walking around these ancient remains while learning more about the island's fascinating past. More modern landmarks include castles, palaces and of course Palma’s iconic cathedral.
