As we say goodbye to summer and hello to autumn, there are many who are rejoicing at the attractive prices for holidays in the southern Mediterranean at this time of the year.

This outbuilding is a recent addition to the hotel and has been built to fit in with the insanely pretty surroundings. Inside you will find an indoor pool with underwater loungers tiled in sparkling green mosaic. From here you can admire the panoramic views over Mallorca’s rural plains thanks to the glass walls. There’s also a jacuzzi, a fabulous Turkish bath, ice fountain and two adventure showers. Massages and yoga classes are also available upon request. Closing on October 22nd, you can still enjoy a quick escapade here.

Son Julia Country House Hotel

If time is of the essence, then the Son Julia Country House Hotel wins as its within easy reach of the airport, with a transfer time of 10-15 minutes it makes for the perfect long weekend break away this autumn. Another five-star hotel set in Mallorca’s natural landscape, this 15th-century manor house provides a romantic setting for a spa break. The wellness centre here consists of a heated indoor pool, whirlpool tub and hammam, while massage treatments are available upon request. So you have no excuse to not feel both pampered and re-energised on that flight home. Be quick, they shut their doors on November 2nd.

Perhaps a sea view is compulsory on your spa break. If this is the case, Pure Salt Port Adriano takes residence in a majestic building overlooking the modern marina of Port Adriano. It is a luxury adult-only hotel claiming to be an oasis of calm and the pinnacle of sophistication. The hotel’s O Spa boasts a beautiful indoor heated pool, sauna, ice fountain, sensation showers, a hairdresser, golf simulator and multiple spa treatment rooms. They have a range of treatments and even yoga classes available, and they are open until November 3rd.
