Night Shopping in Palma

Shops will open until 22:30 on Thursdays in the city centre

Palma de Mallorca town centre, as well as the areas of s'Escorxador, Blanquerna and Bons Aires, will be even more lively on Thursday nights. Shops will open until 22:30 and bars and restaurants will set up special offers for all the shopaholics out there.

Some museums, art galleries and historic building will also remain open until late, and there will also be street entertainment and live music, bringing a bustling atmosphere to the city on Thursday nights.

The "Palma Dijous Nit" (Palma Thursday Night) campaign, promoted by the town council and the local trade association, will run from July 14th to September 29th. This project took place successfully between 2008 and 2011, helping small and medium businesses boost their sales. According to Palma's mayor, the commercial sector represents a 23% of the companies in Palma, and employs a 17.5% of the city's active population.
