Orange Level Weather Warnings in the Balearics
The weather forecast predicts very heavy rains
Autumn has brought quite a lot of water to the Balearic Islands. The Spanish National Meteorological Agency has issued the orange level weather warning, the second highest, for Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday has seen heavy rains in Mallorca, as well as strong wind mainly on the sea where waves can reach up to 3 or 4 metres high. Things will get calmer on Thursday, but the orange level alert stays in the coast of Ibiza and the north east of Mallorca.
Friday and the weekend will have a mixture of sun and clouds, so it might be better to leave your sightseeing for later in the week!
