Wintry weekend in Mallorca

November 2016 brings lower temperatures and precipitations

Temperatures will drop in Mallorca next weekend, according to Spain's National Meteorological Agency, with a 90% probability of rain on Sunday and Monday.

Thermometers will read 12 degrees on Sunday night, rising to 20 during the day, while Monday will see chillier temperatures with a minimum of 9 degrees and a maximum of 15. There is even a chance of light snow dusting atop the Balearic islands' highest peak, Puig Major (1445m) in Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana, as the snow limit will go down to 1400 metres.

These conditions are typical of the island this time of year; in 2015, we also had our first rather cold weekend in Mallorca in November.
