Sadrassana Restaurant, Palma de Mallorca

Smart Mediterranean restaurant in the old quarter of Palma

featured in Restaurants Updated

Sadrassana restaurant & cocktail bar is housed in a nineteenth-century Majorcan manor house located in the picturesque Sa Drassana square in Palma’s old quarter.

Sadrassana is the restaurant that belongs to the Horrach Moyà Gallery, offering art lovers the chance to visit and see works by contemporary artists. The building retains its original decorative features and the gallery has respected the architecture, décor and history of the period and location.

The furniture is in keeping with the rest of the project, with vintage chairs and ornate velvet damask wall hangings, combined with pared-down white walls, typical of Mallorcan patios, giving a touch of cosmopolitan extravagance and a nod to the past. It is a place where cultures, ambiences, climates, flavours, aromas and sounds intermingle, alongside the radicalism of today’s most avant-garde art.

Sadrassana restaurant offers a menu designed by chef Tito Verger, with traditional dishes and new creations inspired by Balearic cuisine, especially Mallorca’s, where the weight of tradition and contemporaneity are palpable. In December 2014 Sadrassana restaurant & cocktail bar and its chef received their first Sol Repsol, a prestigious award given to the best restaurants and chefs in Spain and Portugal in recognition of their culinary excellence, execution, respect for regional cuisine, wine lists and outstanding service.

Sadrassana offers various spaces where you can enjoy classic international cocktails and our own creations made by our cocktail bartender with liqueurs from the island. It is a place to discover the island’s traditions and spirit through a renewed vision in an enchanting setting that can be enjoyed on any occasion.

Open Monday to Sunday from 17:30-01:00.

Worth knowing

The restaurant also houses an art gallery with a selection of exhibitions and programmes based on the exchange of ideas, concepts and expressions between artists from diverse backgrounds and of different nationalities.
