This newly built, beautiful Mallorcan villa has been finished to the highest standard and provides a contemporary and luxurious retreat.

Situated between the Alaro peaks of the Tramuntana mountains, Son Alaro has spectacular views and is ideal for a relaxing escape. Extensive outdoor space includes contemporary gardens, a dining area, luxury sunbeds and a stunning infinity pool. The villa has an array of state-of-the-art technology including a 60” television with games console, Sonos sound system and outside Climate 60 pool speakers.

The villa has been designed by award-winning architects Luis and Jaime Garcia-Ruiz Guasp with sophisticated furnishings that have been exclusively designed by Jaime Cooke and Bornelo Interiors.

The two luxury living areas and large modern kitchen boast a mix of calming natural colours, sumptuous sofas, stunning central fireplace and state-of-the-art appliances. Elegant marble surfaces glisten throughout while large flawless windows offer far-reaching views towards the lush mountains.

Sleeping

The villa can sleep up to 12 in five contemporary bedrooms with beautiful views of the garden. There are five bathrooms and one bath is set next to large glass windows overlooking stunning views of the mountains and lush green environment.

The lovely outdoor infinity pool is situated in front of the villa on the lawn and has a patio lined with sun-beds and as well as beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

About the surrounding area

Alaro is a small village in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains, around 20 minutes north of Palma. It is a typically argricultural village, unspoilt by tourism, and immaculately kept.

Towns nearby

This quiet village has a lively central square where you will find all the local shops. The surrounding countryside is divided up into country estates and farms, with rows of beautiful almond trees in the fields. The most famous attraction in Alaro is its ruined castle, which can be found at the top of one of the surrounding hills.

This property is let on self-catering basis, however, this doesn’t mean you need to cook for yourself! There are a number of private chefs you can book who can prepare your meals for the full week or the odd night. Alternatively you could opt for a food delivery service

You’ll need to book your own childcare when staying here. There is a great choice of childcare options in Mallorca from full-time nanny services to the odd night of babysitting. Booking in advance is always recommended and strongly advised for the school holiday periods.

You’ll need to book your own transfers when staying here. Your main options are shared or private transfers, but consider whether you would prefer a door-to-door service or a (generally cheaper) “communal” drop-off point at your destination.

Cycle Hire

You’ll need to organise your own bike hire when staying here.  Things to consider are the type of bike you want to rent such as road, mountain, hard trail and/or an electric bike; and whether you’ll need helmets and protective clothing with your rental. You’re best off choosing a shop that is close to your accommodation for ease of access, and making it quicker to return the bike and pay at the end. Some companies may also deliver so it’s worth looking at all the options.
