The building is part of the historical town centre of Artà and dates from the early 19th century. It is an authentic example of a Mallorcan house, combined with modern facilities.

Re-opened in May 2013 following extensive renovations, the hotel offers creative Mediterranean cuisine, spa and diverse range of wellness treatments. All 12 rooms are individually designed and a great deal of care and attention has gone into the furnishings.

There are 126 oversized rooms and 16 luxury suites to choose from, all of them with furnished terraces overlooking the Canyamel Valley. Its plush beds, marble bathrooms with rain showers, complimentary high-speed WiFi, in-room tablet devices and modern amenities will make your stay hard to forget.

The hotel also has a spa with treatments and facilities inspired by Mallorca's local culture. There are exclusive suites for individual treatments and couples, a room with an alpha quartz sand bed, a Himalayan salt sauna, sensory showers and an outdoor jacuzzi. Of course, there's also an outdoor lagoon-shaped pool within the resort's landscaped gardens as well as a paddling pool, a temperature-controlled adults pool and a whirlpool.

The Michelin-starred Voro restaurant, led by chef Álvaro Salazar, offers two tasting menus that evolve regularly and a wine cave with over 200 references. Made with seasonal, local produce, the chef's creations are out of a foodie's dreams. There is also the Balearic Restaurant, serving local Mediterranean cuisine, the Tapas Bar which offers traditional Spanish cuisine, a seasonal pop-up to surprise with international flavours, and a pool bar.

Guests also get complimentary access to the Cap Vermell Country Club which boasts an indoor 25m pool, an outdoor pool, two tennis and four paddle courts, a relaxation area with whirlpool and a sauna. Canyamel Golf is only 15 minutes from the hotel.

As a client in the hotel you can enjoy the sauna, the bar, the terrace with sunbeds and a covered swimming pool. The garden has orange trees and the terrace with its flowers and plants transmits the essence of the Mediterranean lifestyle.

The hotel has a total of thirty suites and they each have a private terrace. All suites also come with air-conditioning, a flat-screen tv and a kettle.

Guests are able to take a dip in one of the two infinity pools, relax at the wellness centre or enjoy a delicious meal from the hotel restaurant. There is also a car park on site.
