The cycling season begins in February and is busiest until May but most cycle shops are open until October. July and August are the hottest months so not an ideal time for training. If you decide to come at this time, then going out at the crack of dawn will not only ensure you have the run of the road but keep you cooler than you would be in the hot sun.
