And the Lluc Monastery, near the hotel, is a must for hikers and travellers.

The present owners, the Siquier Family, restored the property preserving the traditional style of the old houses of the island. Architectural elements of the past such as beams, canework ceilings, stonewalls, and buttresses are combined with modern facilities to provide you with excellent comfort.

The house has several types of rooms: romantic Double Rooms, spacious Junior Suites or our comfortable Junior Suites Superiors. All rooms are provided with a living area, and some have private entry, private terrace, fireplace, Jacuzzi or hydromassage bath. The hotel offers comfortable and roomy livings, dining room with fireplace, barbecue, a patio dating back to the 16th Century, a swimming pool (14m x 6m), porches, and garden.

The country estate has been declared a wildlife sanctuary. Due to the fact that the flora and fauna are protected one can enjoy a great number native species that have multiplied along the past years. Son Pons has pasture for sheep, its own oak woodland, stream and a great variety of trees including an extensive olive grove which produces high quality fruits used to produce their own olive oil.

The interiors have been carefully preserved to reflect the finca’s heritage, with original features thoughtfully integrated into shared spaces. The former olive mill still houses its traditional machinery, while the old kitchen has been transformed into a cosy communal area where guests can relax and unwind. Throughout the property, the focus is on maintaining Mallorcan charm while ensuring comfort.

The hotel offers five unique apartments, each with its own style and views towards the mountains. Some feature spacious private patios, while others open directly onto the central courtyard or enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. Every space has been designed to feel warm, individual and connected to its natural setting.

Outside, life moves at a gentler pace. You can spend your days by the pool, enjoy long meals in the barbecue area or wander through the orchard filled with oranges, cherries and tomatoes. The sounds of the working finca blend with the stillness of the countryside, creating a setting that feels both alive and deeply relaxing. Hidden within the estate, you’ll also find ancient archaeological sites, including a talayotic settlement and a cave, linked by scenic walking paths.

The location makes it easy to explore nearby villages such as Lloseta and Alaró, as well as the wider Tramuntana region, known for its walking routes, cycling trails and traditional markets. With the option to enjoy homemade Mallorcan breakfasts and dinners prepared using produce from the finca, Filicumis offers a truly immersive island experience rooted in nature, history and local life.

Indeed the organic vegetables and fruits produced within the hotels grounds are used in the restaurant and some of their products such as jams are available for purchase.

Situated within a 300 year old country house, this property offers traditionally styled accommodation with plenty of charming features that include stone walls, exposed wooden beams and an olive oil press!

The hotel itself is small with just eight rooms which have all been decorated with light pastel shades to create smart clean interiors. All the rooms are fully air-conditioned and include Satellite TV, free WiFi access, hair-dryer, safe and mini-bar. Premium double rooms also have access to their own private terrace.

Outside in the extensive garden you'll find a pretty pond which has been collecting water from Camarata’s spring for more than 300 years. There is a covered terrace where you can relax in the shade on cushioned wicker sofas and armchairs.
