1. Caving & sea caving

Choose between inland caving and sea caving - each offers a unique way to uncover the island’s secret subterranean world.

Inland caving takes you deep into Mallorca’s limestone interior. You’ll explore ancient rock formations, winding tunnels and impressive chambers filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Some caves are spacious and accessible, while others are more challenging - ideal for adventurous explorers. With expert local guides leading the way, it’s a safe and spectacular journey into the heart of the island.

Sea caving, on the other hand, adds an aquatic twist. You’ll swim or snorkel along the coast to reach dramatic sea caves carved into the cliffs. Some routes include abseiling down to the water or entering through natural sea tunnels. Inside, you’ll find crystal-clear lakes, strange rock formations and vast hidden rooms that feel completely otherworldly. It’s a high-adrenaline experience that combines elements of climbing, swimming and exploration.

Whichever you choose, both caving and sea caving offer an extraordinary way to discover the secret side of Mallorca - whether you’re underground or underwater.

2. Sea Caving

Explore one of the most spectacular caves on the island in a unique corner where very few are lucky enough to know about.

Enjoy swimming in the Des Coloms Cave and discover amazing stalactites, stalagmites, columns and other unique formations.

There are 3 trips to choose from ranging between 3 and 5 hours, all of which include sea caving at Des Coloms Cave,

Itineraries

  • Des Coloms Cave (3 hours) - trekking, swimming or snorkelling and sea caving.
  • Explora Day (4 hours) - 45 minutes trekking, 22 metres abseiling, sea caving, climbing, finishing with a 45 minute trek.
  • Cala Varques and Des Coloms Cave (5hours) - trekking, swimming, sea caving, and Cala Varques beach.

This activity is suitable for anyone over the age of 10 and able to swim.

Caving is a fantastic mystical world where you can see ancient formations, stalactites and stalagmites.

There are 2 trips to choose from

Sea Caving at Des Coloms Cave - Easy level aquatic cave. This tour runs through spacious and comfortable galleries where you can see stalactites, stalagmites and other formations. Inside you can appreciate its beautiful crystal-clear lakes. Requirements: No previous experience required but you must be able to swim.

Underground caving at Des Marmols Cave - An easy cave which is perfect for beginners. Comfortable galleries where you can appreciate the different rooms and formations. There is a 30 minute walk to get to the cave along an easy path, returning by the same route. No previous experience required.

Mallorca is characterised by having a network of extensive caves where you can find unique rock formations like stalactites, stalagmites, columns

Depending on your age and ability there are a variety of caves to choose from.

  • Sea Caving Des Coloms Cave - Sea caving, which includes trekking and swimming or snorkelling.
  • S'Embut Cave - Located in the Sierra de Na Burguesa, this is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the area, where you can observe different speleothems and it has a depth of about 95 meters.
  • La Campana Cave - One of the most famous on the island due to its size and depth of it reaching the quota of 350 meters deep.
  • Des Cans Cave - Located in Caimari with a depth of 96 meters, it does not have many formations but it is a vertical cave and therefore has a technical descent, It is important to have knowledge of ascending by a fixed rope.
  • Fra Rafel Cave - One of the most outstanding caves on the island, 147 metres deep and recommended for people who want to progress in the field of speleology.
  • Des Marmols Cave - The deepest of the network of caves of Na burguesa, with a descent of 85 metres.

The minimum age for this activity is between 10 and 15 years depending on the cave.

5. Water Activities Challenge

Running from May to October, The Challenge is an exhilarating tour over land and sea for all ages and fitness levels. It is a fantastic adventure for the whole family with many exciting activities like snorkelling and kayaking.

This activity takes place in the north of Mallorca and is an adventure treasure hunt combining many fun outdoor activities. However, you don't have to be especially fit or have any experience to enjoy this brilliant day of fun. Being able to swim is not mandatory, but it is recommended. Their English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish speaking guides will be there to support you throughout The Challenge.

Activities include pick-up in classic Land Rover jeeps, kayaking, cliff jumping (optional), swimming in a sea cave, snorkelling, a treasure hunt and a picnic at the beach.

The Challenge lasts approx. 3 hours and GoPro HD photos will be taken throughout, which will be made available at no extra cost.
