1. Possessio Binicomprat Hotel, Algaida
Dating back to the 13th century, the house has been converted into ample apartments and rooms, which are surrounded by private forests and vineyards.
The hotel retains much of its charms, with an 18th-century arch in the entrance, a traditional Mallorcan kitchen, a chapel more than 200 years old and a beautiful vaulted wine cellar.
Accommodation is divided into two apartments for 2 and 4 people, a double room and a suite.
There are ample gardens with a pool, a garden grill and a vegetable plot. The estate is located under the mountain of Cura and surrounded by a forest of over 130 hectares of pines and oaks, an idyllic location for hiking and excursions. These forests are the home of their eight donkeys, from a typical Mallorcan race, as well as many species of quails, birds, rabbits, hares and hedgehogs.
The 7 hectares of vineyards are located behind the Possessió and produce about 30,000 bottles of their wines OM Oliver Moragues. All vineyards are worked by hand and following the principles of organic agriculture and procedures. The varieties planted are mostly Mallorcan and French: Manto negro, Callet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, and Prensal blanc.
