Pollenca Fire Fair
Organised for the first time in 2010, we're hoping that Pollenca arranges another crazy night of fire. Pollenca stole the show last year with this night devoted to fire, devils & demons and live music. The devils run with fire (fireworks) - known as correfocs - whilst dancing to music and drums. The town square is transformed into a vision of hell, with images of Lucifer and his she-devil shooting flames up into the night. A crazy night!
UPDATE: Unfortunately, we still haven't had confirmation that this event is being repeated this year. Whilst events are often publicised at the very last minute, we suspect this one may not be going ahead. If we have any news to the contrary we will update the site immediately!
