British man drowns in Mallorca
A Scottish man dies whilst swimming in Magaluf
A 27 year old Scottish man had died whilst swimming in the sea in the Mallorca beach resort of Magaluf. It is reported that the man went swimming early on Saturday morning after a night out in Magaluf on Friday night. The body was found by divers on Saturday morning.
The cause of death is suspected as drowning, and there are no suspicious circumstances. The local police found several items of his clothing on the beach. The man had been on holiday with a friend; this friend has confirmed that they had both been drinking on Friday night in Magaluf but had not returned back to their hotel together.
