Steve McCurry retrospective in Palma de Mallorca
A retrospective of photojournalist Steve McCurry's work opened last week at the Casal de Solleric in Palma de Mallorca. The exhibition shows a selection of portraits, landscapes and street photography from throughout his career, including several unpublished images from recent trips to India and Tibet.
American McCurry covers a wide range of subjects including international and civil conflicts, capturing evocative images that highlight both the wider human impact and the emotion of the individual being photographed. He is particularly well known for his picture of an Afghan girl which featured on the front cover of National Geographic.
The exhibition is at the Casal de Solleric, Palma de Mallorca and runs from June 16th - September 4th.
