Second Brit in 3 days dies in Magaluf fall
A second Brit has died after a fall in the Majorca beach resort of Magaluf.
Benjamin Harper, 28, from Twickenham has become the second British holiday maker in less than a week to fall to his death in the Majorcan resort of Magaluf. Mr Harper was on a stag party with friends when he fell from the fifth floor balcony of the Sol Antillas hotel on Friday evening.
Benjamin Harper is the second Brit to die in Magaluf in the last week. On Tuesday Adam Atkinson, 20, from Castleford lost his balance on the stairs of the Hotel Martinique and later died from the injuries he sustained in Son Espases hospital in Palma.
A police spokesman in Majorca said: "It’s a shocking start to the holiday season to have two men die at the same resort in less than a week."
