Franz Ferdinand and Bastille added to Mallorca Rocks lineup this summer

Scottish indie band and new London group join Jake Bugg, Tinie Tempah, and Chase & Status

Brit Award and Mercury Prize winners Franz Ferdinand will join this years 3rd edition of Mallorca Rocks lineup along with Bastille who reached number 2 in the UK charts with their song "Pompeii".

Bastille will play on the 25th June having gained festival experience after playing Glanstonbury, Blissfields and Isle of Wight in 2011. The Glasgow based band, Franz Ferdinand, will play their gig on the 10th September making this their second ever appearance in Mallorca after their show at Palma Arena in 2010. The Scottish band also caused a frenzy that night as they spent the night partying in Passieg Maritim, one of Palma's popular nightlife scenes.

Mallorca Rocks, held in the ever popular tourist destination of Magaluf, are already boasting a great lineup with some more acts still to follow. This is Mallorca Rocks' third year hosting outdoor concerts like this and they will be celebrating their birthday with a party on the 16th July.

Mallorca Rocks will kick off on the 4th June with Jake Bugg playing the opening show. Other acts that will take to the stage include Rizzle Kicks (11th June), The Vaccines (18th June), Bastille (25th June), Tinie Tempah (9th July), Chase & Status (30th July), Katy B (8th August), Example (13th August), Ellie Goulding (20th August) and Dizzee Rascal (27th August).
