Greenpeace's Rainbow Warrior Comes to the Balearic Islands
The infamous ship arrives to campaign against oil drilling
The rainbow Warrior is making a week long tour from Valencia to Ibiza and Mallorca to protest against government plans to look for oil in and around the Balearic Islands.
They are concerned that such projects would threaten and damage the local ecosystems, and are promoting the message that more oil is not necessary to ensure our ongoing energy needs.
The ship is in Ibiza from 11th -13th June and then Mallorca on 14th & 15th June.
People can visit the ship to take a look around it, and find out more about what Greenpeace does whilst it's in port.
