A new miniseries filmed entirely in Mallorca will air in the UK February 10. Mad Dogs is the story of four men whose friendship is tested by a series of extraordinary events on the island. The cast includes Max Beesley, Philip Glenister, John Simm, Marc Warren and Ben Chaplin.

The budget of four million euros for the series was helped along with a 150,000 euro grant from the Mallorcan Tourism Foundation. Soller, Pollenca and Palma are some of the locations filmed and the series is certain to give Mallorca tremendous exposure and publicity with three million viewers expected per episode.

The series was co-produced by Palma Pictures and is testimony to Majorca's capabilities in the film and television industry. Plans are already underway for a second series to be filmed on island.
