The world-famous Pacha nightclub chain is to open a venue on Mallorca on 18th June. With twenty clubs around the world, from Marrakech to Moscow, the Pacha brand is internationally famous, and the new venture in Son Caliu will attract many ardent clubbers from all over the world.
The venue is due to open with a glittering gala night and celebrities from Spain, Germany and the UK have been invited to attend.
However, other residents from the area near the club on the outskirts of Palmanova have expressed concern that the new Pacha will mean an increase in noise and parking problems. Despite protests from locals, the 3,000 square-metre premises (which were formerly the Gallery Club) are currently undergoing renovation work to create the coolest nightspot on the island.
Pacha Ibiza is also undergoing changes having taken over the El Divino nightclub in Ibiza Town. It is planning a major redevelopment of the site in time for another star-studded summer opening.
