The Oldie Literary Lunch at Ca n'Eduardo
Literary lunch talk with Jeffrey Archer, Donald Trelford & Harry Mount
The Oldie Literary Lunches have become a venerable institution on the London literary scene since they were first launched in 1996. They are held monthly at Simpson’s-in-the-Strand and they've had a lot of big names speak from Princess Michael of Kent to Gyles Brandreth and Ken Clarke. In May they are travelling overseas to Palma, Mallorca to host a Literary Lunch at Ca n’Eduardo Restaurant.
The renowned former editor of the Observer, Donald Trelford, will interview the bestselling author and lapsed politician Jeffrey Archer in this one-off lunch with beautiful views.
Followed by a talk by The Oldie's editor, Harry Mount, on "Summer Madness: How Brexit Split the Tories, Destroyed Labour and Divided the Country". This book is their editor’s first-hand account of how Brexit damaged everyone it touched, revealing the country’s leading backstabbers and political fixers.
£48 for a three-course lunch including wine. Tickets can be booked online.
