Balearic Island Beaches in Europe's Top 25

Trip Advisor reveals its '2015 Travelers Choice' Top European Beaches

And two of the beaches in that top 25 are in the Balearic Islands!

Playa de Ses Illetes on the Island of Formentera took second place just behind Rabbit Beach on the Island of Sicily.

“Endless sea, fine sand, spectacular views, yachts, fancy stalls, Ibiza on the horizon.” - Trip Advisor

With the only downside being that the beach can get busy during holiday periods (not surprising!) this stretch of white sand with turquoise blue waters receives glowing reviews from all who visit. Whether you want to explore the small bays of the nature reserve or just hang out on the beach and enjoy the water gently lapping on the sand then this beach is for you!

And just making it into the top 25 in 23rd place is Cala Comte (or Cala Conta) on the north west coast of Ibiza. The perfect place to watch the sunset! Again with the usual downside of getting busy in high season this beach is without exception a favourite evening destination. Watching the changing colours and dramatic silhouettes of the small islands off the coast makes this a very special place.

Why not go and check it out for yourself!
