Calvia Fair featuring Sheep & Goats
Agricultural spring fair in the town of Calvà
Calvià hosts it's agricultural fair over the weekend. With an emphasis on the unique and rare breeds of sheep and goats, this is the place to come to see local farm animals on Mallorca.
The fair starts on Saturday with animal displays and an Artisan and Agri-Food Market. There'll be old motorcycle exhibits and activities for kids like painting workshops and storytelling. Later, there's a popular fideuá lunch, children's entertainment, a shepherd exhibition, and a lamb roast dinner. The night wraps up with a lively ballad performance.
Sunday continues with the market and animal exhibits, plus tractor displays. Activities include contests, a parade, sheep shearing, and food tastings. The day ends with contest prizes and a traditional dance show.
