Concert by pianist Lynn Habian, Belmond La Residencia Deia
Special Chopin programme to be played on antique Steinway
Belmond La Residencia Hotel in Deia is thrilled to announce that the international concert pianist, Lynn Habian, will be performing a one performance only concert at 19.00 hrs on 15th September 2012 in the Sa Tafona gallery.
Lynn is an American who debuted at the Carnegie Hall New York in 1987 and since then has been travelling around the world offering stunning performances.
A stopover in Deià in 2010 brought her to visit Belmond La Residencia’s antique Steinway piano and when she saw it, and heard it being played, Lynn decided she would love to give a concert on this famous and unique instrument.
Two years on we are happy to announce that she will perform here with a very special Chopin programme.
This is a unique opportunity to listen to a player who has received wonderful reviews from the media and who is claimed to interpret composers with great skill and talent, capturing the spirit of the piece and playing clearly, with swift fingers and poetry.
