Trobada de Gegants - Giants' Parade

The Giants are a popular sight at Mallorcan festivals. These costumes recreate traditional local characters and are worth seeing if you are lucky enough to be in town.

50 giants and 20 'cabezudos' (giant heads) will take part in this year's parade. The route starts at Plaça Cort, where the town hall is located, at 10:30.

The parade runs through Colom, Plaça Major, Sant Miquel and Plaça d'Espanya. They wil be accompanied by traditional 'xeremiers' or musicians.
