Walk to the Sanctuary of Lluc

Pilgrimage to the spiritual heart of Mallorca

The walk to Lluc Monastery is a traditional Mallorcan pilgrimage which has been held since 1973. The walk is part religious, part sport and open to everyone.

The popular walk starts at Plaça Güell, in Palma, and continues for 42 kilometres until the Sanctuary of Lluc. It usually takes between 8 and 13 hours.

The night route is spectacular, showcasing the Serra de Tramuntana landscapes. There are a few food & drink stops on the way.
