First acts for Mallorca Rocks 2012 announced
Two acts have been announced for Mallorca Rocks 2012 summer season. Ed Sheeran - one of the UK's biggest and brightest new stars to emerge in 2011 - will headline the opening parties on the 5th June, and Two Door Cinema Club will provide the entertainment for the closing parties on the 18th September.
Ed Sheeran burst onto the music scene in 2011 with a debut album and three hits singles - 'The A Team', 'You Need Me' and the smash hit 'Lego House'. The 20 year old is from Halifax, West Yorkshire and cites James Morrison & Damien Rice as his influences.
Two Door Cinema Club released their debut album 'Tourist History' in 2010 and toured many of the big festivals in 2011. The band are from Northern Ireland and their hits include 'I Can Talk', 'Undercover Martyn', and 'Something Good Can Work'.
Mallorca Rocks is a hotel/concert venue in Magaluf, in south west Majorca. They host summer concerts every Tuesday night from June to September. Speacial early bird deals are currently available. For tickets and information, visit Mallorca Rocks website.
