First of the New Beach Lockers gets Installed in Santa Ponsa
Peguera, Magaulf and Palma Nova
Last May we heard that new hi-tech beach lockers were going to be installed at some of Calvias beaches, and the first of these was officialy launched in Santa Ponsa yesterday.
The lockers have a touch screen system allowing you to choose the size of locker required and the number of days you'd like to use it for. You can pay by credit or debit card and then the locker automatically opens. You'll also be given a pin number which you use to open your locker when you come back to collect your posessions.
The first of these lockers are now available for use in Santa Ponsa, and others will be installed soon at Palma Nova, Magaluf and Peguera. Phase 2 of the installation will see charging points for mobile phones added to the units.
