Flights to Majorca resume for the summer

Palma airport sees the return of UK flights to Majorca

Flights to Majorca will resume for the summer starting next week. Through the winter months most UK airlines scale back their service to Majorca and some discontinue certain routes altogether.

Over the winter months a new hub has been set up in Palma Airport by low-cost operator Ryan Air. The new routes are already up and running, in anticipation of a busy summer.

Hopefully getting to Majorca this summer will be easier than ever but your departure city will make all the difference. Liverpool and Manchester are well serviced throughout the summer months with Easy Jet running three flights a day, seven days a week.

However, if you are flying from Glasgow or Edinburgh there are only flights two days a week with Easy Jet. In some cases it may be best to fly out with one airline and back with another. Ryan Air and Jet2 both operate from Scottish airports and it is worth checking all the airlines available (Monarch, BMI Baby, BA, Flybe...) for the best deal.

Flights are also available from most European countries; whether you are flying from the UK or further afield try searching for options with our flight finder. For further travel information take a look at our pages on Travel & Transport to Mallorca.

However you travel to Majorca this summer, we hope you have a great time while you are here.
