Members of the Spanish Royal family were back in Palma de Mallorca this Sunday celebrating Easter mass during their stay on the Island.

King Juan Carlos (who was unable to attend due to ill health last year), Queen Sofia, Crown Prince Felipe, his wife Letizia and their two daughters, were met with cheers of 'Long live the King' and 'Long live Spain' by happy onlookers.

The King, who has undergone a number of operations on his back and hip in recent years, was walking with the aid of a stick. Several spectators wished him a speedy recovery.

His daughter Princess Cristina did not attend, and hasn't done so since her husband, the Duke of Palma was reportedly involved in embezzelment of public funds a couple of years ago. Cristina was also called to appear in court in February this year to answer allegations of money laundering and tax evasion.
